Our new Regional Academic Health Center

The opening of the new 620,000-square foot IU Health Bloomington Hospital has raised the quality of health care for 11 counties in South Central Indiana, as well as the opportunities for health science education and research at Indiana University.

Our new Health Sciences building brings state-of-the art technology, including a simulation center, to students across multiple health science disciplines. It also places our students, faculty, and researchers right next door to a leading edge facility that serves 470,000 people.

The classroom technology is outstanding and a huge leap in the quality of our educational spaces. The new Health Sciences building ups the quality and capacity for health sciences education in Bloomington.
